I have a 4770k and I paid 100 bucks for it through my job. I can tell you, in game, there is no difference between that in the AMD 8350.

4770k-4.6Ghz
8350-5.2Ghz

If paying full price, just go AMD.

Also, I have a GTX 770, for reference.

Just trying to be able to play games for a while and not having to upgrade for a while.
