It seems like you have a crappy power brick or a crappy console, because all of your other posts are just you having problems with your console.

I don't understand how you've made your own power supply/cord. Can you post a pic of this?

Also is this problem emulated on both NAND's?

yes i will post a pic of the power supply. also i have been having a lot of problems with the console lately. and yes when i do sync and power to go to stock nand it still doesn't boot.

NavyxDumper wrote when i plug in the power brick it goes to standby mode. Then i plug it into the xbox and its still in standby mode. Once i click the power button the xbox boots up for about 1 second. then the power brick flashes red then goes back to standby.
Check for a connection that could be shorting out the motherboard i know this used to happen to me when wired my xbox

do you think the xbox would be fine using the power cord i made. its 12 volts and 5 and it turns it on. I dont want to risk breaking my old xbox power cord.

pretty sure xbox is 120v if im not mistaken

on the two pegs that stick out it should be 5v and 12v but yes the xbox does use 120v. when i tested the voltage on the old xbox 360 it was 5 and 12 also.
