No you don't. They don't make the gtr non turbo and you sure as hell wouldn't want a non turbo skyline because they are slow as. I know a couple people who have non turbo r34's and they would lose to a pulsar VZR.

Why get the new model ? It looks nice but personally I think the old model looks much better (reason why it is my dream car).

I'm with you on this. Loved that you put a pic of a Hawkeye! I think the new WRX/STi's are starting to look "stocky" like the Evo is. Subaru needs to bring back the old Bugeye and Hawkeye styles and tweak off of that, That's where Subaru was at its prime (My opinion). This stocky look just seems to resemble Evos way to much.

@Navigate: Ultimately it's your choice, since you/parents are paying for it.

Most you guys will end up with some sort of second hand crap car unless you or your parents have deep pockets. I was on good money and was just able to afford a vauxhaul corsa for my first car at 17.

I hope to buy pretty soon a Lexus/Toyota Soarer.
Lovely cars only cost around 3000GBP. 2.5 Litre Twin turbo. And i plan to upgrade more. Dont tell my insurance. But thats what i hope for should be able to get it. Bought with my money only i don't rely on my parents for money.

Mine would have to be a 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport. It is a realistic first car and it is beautiful.

They aren't too expensive. The insurance would probably be high at my age though.

Nobody will get a 15000 car as their first because you just wouldn't get insured on it if you're a new driver. A realistic first car I would like is a 'Volkswagen Lupo'.
