Depends the standalone or the Mod. Standalone is $30 and mod you have to buy Arma II Combined Operations which is $25

Which one are you looking for. There's two versions. The dayz mod which runs on another game (arma 2) Or dayz standalone which is in alpha, and big youtubers play such as FrankieOnPcIn1080p

There is a mod for Arma 2 Combined Operations and then theres the Standalone DAYZ. The mod for Arma 2 Combined Operations is Free, but you have to pay for the base game. The standalone is DayZ without arma 2, but is in Alpha, so there will be bugs. I Have both the mod and standalone, so i prefer standalone. The games Are Steam and in total the standalone is $30 and Arma 2 combined operations is $25.

DayZ Is a Survival game, you have to look for food, water and other resources to survival, team up with survivors and make a big team and kill everyone.
