Seems like back in the day life was so much easier. Parents tell us that they didn't have as much homework and things weren't as expensive as they are today. Taxes weren't as bad. It was easier to get into college. Seems like in our generation there is so much more pressure and work. Our whole life depends on one little task.

Oh please....

Our generation (older) didnt have the internet to supply us with near enough 80% of anything we needed.

These days you have it easier.

Pressure to work?
Sooo many ways into work for the younger generation these days

Cant get into college?
So many more ways to get educated.

This generation has it easier.

College tuition is nothing like it was back then in the 1900's and you didn't need as high SAT and ACT scores. Sure we have privileges of new technology but that doesn't mean we don't have more work than they did

Nooooo lol.

This generation has everything handed to them. I had the privilege growing up farming and I took after my hard working parents. Now that everything is digital, that line of work is practically ruined. Now all food is filled with GMO's . Life was so much simpler then, and also Jim Croce was still alive lol.

I think the amount of college tuition is an absolute joke.. How do you expect someone to go in to a college and get "Good job" and pay off debt for the rest of their life.

15k to get in to a state school. Jokes!

Every generation has setbacks and benefits.
Today's generation has to face different challenges than past generations but at the same time there are things that are better in the present day.

Everything is relative.

Exactly! It's rediculous how the school system has changed.

Who said you had to go to college?

I know plenty of people who don't have a college degree and they are doing good if not better than those who do have a college degree.
