Today (06-30-2014) Apple released the firmware 7.1.2:

  • Improves iBeacon connectivity and stability
  • Fixes a bug with data transfer for some third-party accessories, including bar code scanners
  • Corrects an issue with data protection class of Mail attachments

This firmware CAN still be jailbroken. If you wish to update to 7.1.2, you will need to re-jailbreak using the NEWEST Pangu-1.1.0.

Here is the download links and tutorial for jailbreaking 7.1.2.

I'm still on 7.1, is there any real decent benefits of updating my firmware? Or have you found that its exactly the same?

When i mean benefits, does it run faster or save battery or anything?

I just upated and re-jailbroke about 30 minutes ago. So far I have not noticed a difference really. If I were you, I'd just stay at 7.1 if nothing is causing you problems.

Is there a link to a jailbreak for iOS 7.1.1, and does jailbreaking take any space?
edit: Nevermind, found a link, please answer my other question

Jailbreaking CAN take space yes. The more stuff you download from Cydia, the more space you use.
