I agree that everyone on this site and everywhere else should have an equal chance, not to be judged for being new to the site.


But, also in the same instance, instead of looking at it as a bad thing when users judge your or whatever prove them wrong by posting more and earning more rep and becoming a valuable member, in turn leaving them sounding ignorant.

Whey wrote I recently gifted a new member with 38 posts as I thought he was a nice member, therefore I am not bias.
But with that being said, I think that seeing someone which a good post count and high rep shows their activeness but it shouldn't alter someone's decision when gifting or whatever as those very few posts that they may have been helpful due to answering questions.


I seen that and yes I see where your coming from with this post.

Being here for 3 years I've seen many different people come up from nothing and many higher ups just be there and not really active. For example if you are new to the site you don't really know the ropes, but that doesn't mean you have bad post. I've seen people with 91 posts and get a sticky or badge because they influence the site in a positive way.
