After my first series of test, I then tried this countless times over a series of 3 or 4 hours in actual game play last night. THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE. Trust me I wanted there to be a nice little edge that I could get on the competition, but in the end there was no difference.

In asking around I got the same response that a previous poster already came across, that is these defaults won't be picked up AFTER you have already started a game.

Where it explains the different options, then says:

Note
If you set up or change a default setting after you've already played the game, the game won't pick up the changes on its own. Default settings are only picked up the very first time you play the game.

As I said before, if it helps you think there is less recoil, then that is awesome, but in reality it is nothing more then a placebo.
