Holy crap dude! That sounds really scary. Far out you were brave to think about all those thoughts like you are going to smash it and stuff. If that was me, I would be trying to call my mom or something . Geez dude, are you alright after that experience? I would never want to encounter something like this. :nervous:

Wow. That's crazy lol. When I go through it, I never see anything. It's just pitch black for me. I went through my first one like a week ago too.

My story from another forum; [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

I didn't know what it was so I was trying to explain it as best as I could.

Holy crap man, sleep paralysis sounds so scary but exciting at the same time haha...

So if you DID want to force it upon yourself you could follow similar steps to that of lucid dreaming? Or is it completely different?

As weird as this may sound, I hope I get to experience it at least once in my life!

I used to get this but I think I've beat it somehow, When I was sleeping I used to feel like things were getting further away from me and In my ears was a helicopter noise, I couldn't move because I didn't feel like I was in control of myself, but once you get used to it, it's easy to shake away.

My dad is 54 and has had two occurrences of sleep paralysis. He said the first time he felt like he couldn't breathe. He also said he couldn't hear or speak because when he tried yelling nothing came out. The second time he said he felt like someone was sitting on top of him pushing his head down into the pillow. My dad is not the type of guy that gets scared or spooked easily, but he said the second time for him was kind of freaky because he didn't know what was happening.

I suffered from sleep paralysis as a younger adult. Except when i got hurt in the stage of being in sleep paralysis, the injuries showed.
