You said your going to buy a cooler, what one? will it fit in your anonymous case?
What motherboard do you currently have?
Id be looking for a GPU upgrade & PSU upgrade instead of a motherboard upgrade.
Alright finally fixed everything with the new stuff, and I dont want a new gpu I want a new motherboard and psu, so I can over clock im happy with my gpu and preforms well on games I play.
What is your reason to overclock? In a lot of situations overclocking CPUs is not needed and will give little to no performance gain in applications been used.

I guess you make a point, It would be a little useless to overclock, but to upgrade my gpu I need a new powersupply because mine only have one four pin connector, so I guess Ill upgrade my psu and gpu

What case will you be getting? You don't need to replace your RAM unless is to tall, and even then you could remove the heat spreaders. I also recommend getting a GTX970 instead of the GTX780, since it is better, has newer features and is more power efficient.
Edit: Upgrading your GPU route [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] , ugrading your motherboard for OC. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
You can keep your current case, since the cooler will fit. If you need to have a better case for cable management or whatever reason, you can do it if you want.

It really depends on what you will be doing, in most situations turbo boost is enough, for me I use emulators for the Wii and PS2 which require atleast 2 fast cores, running my stock i5 3570K gave me 70% speed in some wii games but overclocking it to 4.3GHz got those games to run full speed. If you will just be running PC games then a GPU upgrade is where all the performance will come from.

ieatbabycows wrote i'd say get this board MSI 970A-G43 AM3+ AMD 970 + SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard. and this PSU nMEDIAPC HTPC 1080iP Typical 60W, Maxiaum 85W Mini ITX DC to ATX Integrated Power Module with DC Adaptor - for HTPC 1080i Case... it'll do great for your i5 and r9.Listen to this guy, he knows what he's talking about. Use an AMD mobo with an Intel CPU, great idea.
Seriously though, for now, I'd upgrade PSU and GPU. Upgrade case too if it isn't great. Your RAM will be fine. Since you're not too bothered about overclocking right now, leave mobo and CPU cooler. Upgrade to either a GTX 970, or 980 if you can afford, instead of a 780. For a case, NZXT's Source 340 is a nice choice for a good price. Although, if your current case is fine, no need to upgrade. For a PSU, look at anything from SeaSonic or XFX, they make good quality units for the most part. Keep in mind, you should look for a fully modular PSU for better aesthetics and airflow. A 450W or 550W unit will suffice for a single card rig. After you've upgraded GPU, PSU and possibly case, save some more money. Once you have enough, get yourself a Z87/Z97 board and a nice CPU cooler. Corsair's H100i would be a nice choice for an AIO CPU cooler if your case can support the 240mm rad(the S340 does). Then you can add an SSD if you don't already have one.
