CompleteDesigns wroteAsymmetrical wrote I would stick with that idea, try different things within that idea aswell, maybe rotate it a little or try different line styles.
Ok thanks man i thought this would be the best option but thought it was a little too simple.
Also i dont get TTG , Theres hours without a reply and then as soon as one person replys there is always a few more straight after that haha.
Half of them see my name and jump in, some to see if they can down vote it, some to see if they can argue with what i said, and the rest just cos they know I talk sense ;)

-Queen wrote I'm just a random, don't know much about designing so my opinion probably doesn't matter.
Anyway, it almost seems to simple to me.
I like a bit of color and something that captures my attention.
It is nice though, easy on the eyes.
Im hoping to create a simple logo that will get engraved (I think thats the word) into a portfolio cover , So it will be the color of the portfolio and that will most likely be black so thats the reasoning for the color.

More likely be Embossed onto a cover, unless you going all Moses on them and using Stone Tablets

My apologies then, I think something like that on a portfolio is elegant.
Again, I don't know much about this subject I just like to see people's art.
(:

Asymmetrical wrote When going simple you have to get it spot on or it stands out too much.
Top of the J.
Either smooth it or bring the kick out a bit more

Maybe cut it from a circular template so it is continuous and smooth.

Make sure all edges are aligned and filled.

Just looked at a company offering personalized portfolios , A4 portfolio you have the choice of color , Then you could send in artwork to be embossed (You can then choose the color of that) and it is 120 , A3 is more and if you want to add a space for buisness cards or CD/DVD etc its more + Thats without shipping , Is that the standard price im goint to be looking at paying for one?
