Have you ever watched streams? People will go on, see a games graphics/FPS and if they're bad, they'd leave.
I guess I can use this example of mine.
I once had an old PC that couldn't really run anything. I loaded up Arma 2 ( Back when DayZ was hyping and new ) and my PC couldn't handle it. So I opened it for about 1 minute, realized I couldn't play it and Alt F4'd and never played it again on that PC.
So it does happen. And as I've said but Moronic failed to give a reason since he couldn't copy and paste, that experience wouldn't make me a " gamer " even though I was on the game for seconds.

Knih wroter00t wroteKnih wrote So if I download Minecraft, log in and take 1 step, log it, I'm a gamer? No.
You're exaggerating and people who have only EVER played a video game briefly are not the type to make an account on a gaming forum site.
Knih wrote It's also annoying when someone says this so I think " Oh, cool, you're a gamer? So what games have you played? " Then all they talk about is CoD or Minecraft. Like, WHY DO YOU THINK PLAYING 2 GAMES MAKES YOU A GAMER?!
Yes, games that you don't like are games, too. I wouldn't want to be a "gamer" if "true gamers" belittle other people who play different games or are new to games.
Is there some kind of "gamer" initiation? Where can I get my "gamer" license?
I'm not exaggerating, I was trying to ask Moronic a question but as we're on now, all he did was copy and paste so he never game his own view on what I said.
I'm not saying they're not games. I'm saying if you're going around saying you're some gamer, I expect a nice conversation about games in general. Not just the 4 games everyone is playing. I guess it's just a generation gap. Sigh.
You're probably talking to casuals or younger people. I don't know what any of this copy paste business is about. The games you played when you were young were probably the popular ones at the time, too.

I think if anyone plays a single game for 3 months, then yes, they would definitely be considered a "gamer", then again, no one uses that term. You are the only person I've ever seen use the term "I'm a gamer".
Well from what I've seen, you don't really read through a forum, you just see it and comment. I saw that on your first reply here when you didn't really notice what was being said at the time you joined and what happened before hand.
So maybe you don't read forums enough to notice said term?

I'm still currently quite young so when I was gaming, there wasn't a lot out ( Talking back about original Xbox and early PC ) but I still didn't sit on 1 game all day.
The fact we now have all these amazing PCs and sort of amazing consoles, it makes me wonder why people sit on 1 or 2 games and that's all they do when there's literally thousands out there. Then say they're " gamers " because they play the 2 most overplayed games out there as of now.

Knih wroteOh wow, can you not. That's got to be at least 8 times you've said that now, to different people. "Well, um, you don't agree with me, so you clearly just didn't read anything and just posted some random shit". Clearly we had to read your thread to understand the basis of your argument, and your actual argument to begin with. You continue to complain that no one has a valid response to your arguments, yet we do and you reply with completely unrelated posts. Also, your grammar is horrific, it gets hard to understand what you're even trying to say.rot wroteKnih wrote They've only played them for like 3 months and they think they're some epic gamer

You're acting like you think you're better than people who play popular games because you're arrogant. Your entire argument is that any game which isn't obscure or to your liking, is a bad game and doesn't count as a game, and then you say you don't even play the games that are to your liking? Your argument is doing well so far.
Also, you're 19, you are the same age as the majority of this sites users, and you think it's a generation gap? Try again.

Yeah, but if you actually read the forum instead of going for post count ( Like most people ) you would of seen on the first page I tried to bring that up as a rebuttal to Moronic but he wouldn't answer me directly.

You were bringing up things I'd already said to Moronic and even he said had no relevance to what we were saying. Hence I assumed you hadn't actually read anything. Horrific grammar? What's so bad? In the past... 20 or so posts, no one has complained? Hmm.
At 19 to about 13 there is a vague gap there. I could bring up a lot of older games and people would understand. At the same time, I could bring up all the games everyone is playing now and people would still understand.
