Go with any cheap four door that will last you a good couple of years. It's also better for driving around with your friends than any 2 door.

Or go with a real truck, not an old broken down one, but a REAL truck.

I'm currently considering a 5 door golf for a decent price that is located near me, would you recommend a few modifications to a first car? Such as headlights etc... Nothing amazing just simple things.

a polo is just a smaller golf, the golf just has more space and they are faster
