Ruining the world

I find social media to be very helpful! Even though it is also revealing some of your personal stuff for example - Some jobs look into your facebook and pretty much stalk you pictures posts and what not, But they are so helpful because they help you connect with people more easier and what not. But there is also Cyber bullying which is pretty messed up and it's hard on some people. All in all i think social media is ehh 75% good and 25% bad.

Q - What are in your opinion, the pros and cons of Social Media in today's world? What do you like/dislike? What could make it better?

Pros -

- Good for businesses to get started and to promote themselves to the public.

- Communicate with friends and family


Cons -

- Exposes peoples privacy

- Instead of going out and actually meeting with people face to face, a lot of this is now just done over social media.


Wouldn't really say there is much you can do to make it better, as everything that's included on sites such as Twitter and Facebook are there for a purpose.

The pros and cons about social media is that it is much easier to interact with friends on the internet, whether it be facebook, twitter, instagram, etc. Technology has come so far and has made interacting on social media much easier.

The cons of social media is the fact that certain people get targeted for having a mental illness or an issue or some type of disease which seperates them from certain individuals and is more likely to get picked on/cyber bullied for having that certain disease. Which then leads to possibly suicide, which is all round disgusting. The cons of social media is the fact that social media has turned into a very dark place and not many people are friendly as they once were. I've seen a lot of people mocking certain diseases (e.g: Motor neuron disease, cancer, etc) and it's pathetic. Just my two cents, thanks for the giveaway.
