This guy has the EXACT same problem as me so i'm just going to copy and paste what he wrote... and whoever can help me fix this will get +100 rep!

Hello there

I want to disclose and hopefully resolve a problem I'm having.

My HD PVR Components cables and plugged into my HD PVR and my TV.

My Xbox 360 HDMI Cables are plugged into my HD PVR.

The mains are connected to the HD PVR.

The USB Cable is connected from the HD PVR to the laptop.

When I turn everything on, it dispalys and works decently. The picture quality that appears on my laptop is amazing.. infact.. too amazing!

The point I'm trying to get to is that my TV has fuzzy purple and green lines going accross it when I'm trying to play my Xbox 360. But it appears perectly on my laptop, but purple fuzzy lines on my TV. I can't play properly. It happens when I change the quality to 720p and 1080i, even 420p without use of my HD PVR displays better quality than this

All the wires are in firmly, could it be some interfearence? I put my ariel closer to the TV and it got worse, but I unplugged it, and it got better, but the purple and green lines (mainly purple) still display accross my TV.

Well, do you have the HD switch on the back of your xbox Switched to HD?

the little plug that you have to plug in. your av plug has a HD switch, at least mine does.

Yes it's switched to hd and i have the same exact format settings as you...

it plays perfectly on my computer but when I move on my Xbox there is like a 1 second lag between the tv and the computer (the TV moves first). But everything on my TV is shaded yellow and green and purple lines are running through it! WTF! HUGE waste of $220!!

Weird on the video decoder thing it says 1 signal detected and 720 lines detected

but yours are both 0?

And when I changed my brightness and contrast sliders and saturation to match yours the picture didn't change whatsoever? wtf!
