just finished highschool in may, i was never the popular type, but i made enough friends to have atleast 2 or 3 in each class. just be yourself and dont try to be something youre not and you'll be fine

I think it is really up to what you want to achieve right now and later in the future. I will suggest you to be calm, and be yourself along with trying to do good things for others. When I started at high school, I was really nervous too, but I knew what I was going to do.

I knew that I was going to mark myself as one of those who are going for the highest grade in every subject, and gain as much knowledge as possible. This has of course given me some friends, but also a lot of haters. The thing about older people is something that I believe will not be a problem for you.

You do not often see a senior go to a new one like you and start messing with him. In Norway, we have something called "russ", which is like a celebration for graduation from high school, and then it sometimes happens that the seniors make troubles.

To sum up, I think you will make it through high school in a good way, and please, get the best grade! I believe in you, bro.

As I'm now a Sophmore, and I was the same way you were.
Nervous, just feeling weak.
Don't be afraid, be yourself.
Don't let the older kids scare you.
If they see you're scared they will want to hop on you. (at least at my school they did)
Just try to make friends, not enemies.
You'll get comfortable and realize it's very fun.
Just don't do anything stupid.
Don't let kids influence you to do stupid stuff.
You'll regret it later on in life.

Just enjoy high school. I enjoyed it very much. Those kids who seem bigger than you can be very helpful since they have already gone through most of high school.
