Hi i recently put up a build request and bought this new PC

On games like CSGO on lowest settings im only getting 35 FPS

is there a fix for this it also says 8.00 GB of Ram but only 3.94 USABLE

and i got an RMA on the motherboard but still not working ram is fine also

please Help +Rep for solution

Did you by any chance get a 32Bit OS? That only allows 4GB RAM maximum.
as for low FPS, unsure on that.

is the CPU temp while idle or just after a game?

This was well idle but i had to leave the CPU out while the motherboard was being replaced so over the week the paste hardened so i will get some more soon

but the problem has been happening since day 1

normally the CPU is at 40C

Do you have the latest drivers installed for your system. You really need to redo your thermal paste as well, as 70c idle is way too high.


Also, do you have the monitor plugged into the dedicated GPU or do you have it plugged into the onboard GPU?

All hardware is up to date except the motherboard.

Not sure how to update it

For your GPU drivers. You will need to check your motherboard manufacturer's website for drivers, or use the disk that came with the motherboard.
