To improve gaming performance you wouldn't really need to upgrade the CPU at this stage, a GPU upgrade would be better but the 380 is a good card for 1080p.

No idea as to how you get 40fps on CS:GO? You can get 60fps+ on full settings running CS:GO at 4k with a 285 (The 380 is a rebranded 285).

Are your video cables plugged into your GPU, not the motherboard?

Haven't we been over this a few times, you dropped your CPU and had to bend some pins back in to place, ever since then you've been having temperature issues. RMA the CPU. In less demanding games, the 860k won't perform much poorer than an i5. Your only logical upgrade would be an i5, but that's out of your budget. You're looking at a little over 200 euros for the i5 alone, and you'll need a new mobo too.

If only 3.97 is usable then I really doubt you have a 64 bit OS.

So do all sticks of ram show up in the bios? If they do then I guess you could try resetting CMOS.
