40 inch monitor is basically a TV, waaaaaaay too big unless you are mounting it on a wall or creating your own cinema
Cherry Red keyboard -________-
850W PSU would be very close in a 2-way SLI assuming the CPU and GPUs are overclocked
Case includes 1x 200mm fan in the front and 1x 140mm fan in the back, extra fans aren't 100% needed anyway but if you want to add additional fans get some decent ones at least;

Have you any real experience with a 40" 4k monitor? No. Go and actually watch Tek Syndicate's reviews of them, I linked 'em on the last page. They're pretty interesting video's, and great monitors. I'm not sure why you think a 40" panel is a disadvantage. A 27" 4k panel is going to scale horrible considering it's like twice as many DPI as a 24" 1080p panel.

Who said anything about MX Reds?

2-way SLI GTX 980Ti with CPU and GPU overclocks will be perfectly fine on an 850W unit.

Additional fans aren't needed, of course, but when you're dropping £2500 on a rig, you'd expect a decent case fan set-up, at least.

Have you any real experience with a 40" 4k monitor? - I have, it's bad.

40 inch on a monitor is stupid imo. There is no way on gods green earth i could use that day in day out!

I use my pc on a 4k 40" TV, and it's horrible after about 10 mins.

Also, 4K scaling is perfect on a 27" panel, so I'm confuzled where you got your information on that one.

Yes, I do actually. I quite enjoyed it. For editing/rendering, it can be amazing. For gaming, I can see it being a slight hassle, potentially, depending on who's using it.

Your opinion and it's fine, but there's nothing wrong with 40" 4k monitors.

No, it's not. Where are you getting your information from? 4k still has scaling issues.

I'm getting my info from the monitor I'm looking at..

You know, the one I've used for over 6 months now. Not one scaling issue. So where ever you got your info is complete BS.

I use 4k on a 27" panel day in day out so I think i have a better idea in this matter.

Just sayin.

Take a look at any video on 4k scaling. Watch the Tek Syndicate video's, they mention the whole scaling thing. You can't deny the scaling issues 4k has on smaller panels. Adobe programs, and even Steam don't scale cleanly, with navigational elements becoming stretched and ugly.

Review for 28" 4k panel;
I've ditched Google's Chrome browser and actively chosen to have Microsoft's Internet Explorer as my default browser. Yes, you read that right, I've made the move back to Internet Explorer, the browser I always replace with Google Chrome the instant I install a new operating system onto a PC. And the reason is simple, I've been testing Asus' latest 4K monitor, the PB287Q, and the only way I can keep using it as my main monitor is to ditch Chrome.

The main problem I've been having with running my machines with a resolution of 3840x2160on any of the 4K screens I've testedis that you always end up having to use desktop scaling to make anything actually readable on such a high resolution, and desktop scaling simply doesn't work for everything. Keeping your desktop at a straight 1:1 ratio leaves everything from text to icons far too small to be in any way usable on anything that isn't a massive 40-inch display. On the 24, 28 and 30-inch panels I've been testing, they're awkwardly miniscule.

No issue then, all you have to do is go into the Windows Display settings and set it up to 150% or so. Job done.

Ahh, would that it were so simple. Windows and its own icons and text will scale happily and look glorious on your shiny 4K monitor. Third-party applications, like Chrome and Steam, on the other hand look blurry and indistinct. Even Microsoft's own Skype For Desktop can't cope with the superior res.

Switching to IE from Chrome fixes my first-world internet woes, but navigating non-scaling happy applications is still a recipe for eyestrain. As much as it's important then for the main graphics manufacturers to make sure they can deliver enough GPU power to run our favourite games at super-high resolutions, without costing more than the price of our shiny new 4K monitor, it's vital for the software ecosystem to catch up too.

If you think that is scaled badly, you need new retinas.

Here's After Effects

I use a 40" 1080p on my gtx 980 I don't really mind though and yh you can go ahead and say overkill but I couldn't give a damn, I like it because 60fps guaranteed on all games and I use my tv as I love to watch movies along with my z505 speaker set
