Just got my new headphones [Superlux HD668B]
Now i need to get a mic but have no idea where to start, im after something like a desk mic, like a Blue Yeti?, but cheaper, i only have up to 30 GBP for the mic.
Ideally id like it to be a desk mic, but be able to mount it on a boom/scissor arm [if i decide to get on in the future]
Also would like to be able to put it in a shock mount
(They're not requirements but would be nice)
I also need something that wont require any sort of amp to go with, just a mic that will work out the box.
Mainly after what just sounds good, if 30 is way too little just post whatevers the cheapest and worth buying please, thanks guys!

I'd save up, cheapest choice would be the blue snowball which is still double your budget.

I'd suggest this.
I wouldn't recommend a desk mic unless your willing to mount it off the desk and get all the stuff with it which will cost a heck of a lot more.

You could get something better like a modmic but they're a bit over budget.

I was thinking of mounting it off the desk and all that, just not instantly, it'd be about a months wait till i can get the boom stand and pop filter etc..

This is probably the best USB mic you're going to get at that price. You won't get amazing quality, but it will be fine for your budget. I could recommend XLR microphones at that price range, but since you don't have a pre-amp (or audio interface), it's not going to work, and you might not even see a quality difference.
Overall, if you want the best quality, I would recommend saving up for a better mic.

Get a "Samson Go" mic, they are so good, cheaper and better than a snowball.
