-YoungSinatra wrotePotion wrote Clearly you've never managed servers before or mitigated a large amount of incoming data. Let me know when you do.
This is Microsoft were talking about here, not some inexperienced 3rd party company.
They have all the experience and tools to make this go away, but they don't, they don't give a shit about their customers cause if they did a prime example would be them doing their utmost to give the fans the games they want for Backwards Compatibilty, but instead they give them shit.
I'm not surprised though, they can't even keep the servers up for atleast a STRAIGHT month. Let alone listen to their fans.
Giving the fans the games for backwards compatibility is a licensing issue with the publisher as well as a performance issue, most games need to be tested to see if they can be ran without problem. If you actually read into these things instead of ranting and crying you would know why they don't release every game for BC.

300,000+ Dedicated servers that are currently under Xbox live
Cloud storage for every single player out of the millions to store saved data on both 360 and xbox one for people to be able to have access to their saves where ever they go.
Millions of players logging and off all through out the day.
There is no doubt they will have a hiccup. Im sure a few people here remember how rough xbox live was on the original xbox. Trust me. They've gotten better at it. Same with Playstation, they have BAD times but theyre getting better as well, Just be patient man.

Potion's got a point, you're complaining about something that you have no knowledge about. Microsoft is very aware of what's going on and they're working to fix it. The automated answers for the current down services are there so that they can focus man power on fixing it, instead of listening to a thousand 12 year olds tell them what they already know. When we point out this issue with Microsoft, I guess we're going to ignore that every major tech company that hosts this much traffic runs into issues. Calm down and wait for them to fix it, or go buy a PS4 and have it go down for 3 months, your choice.

You think I don't know that?
I don't think Black Ops 1 needs to be tested for 3 months. When they first released Halo Reach on the One it had multiple frame rate issues that took them almost a month to correct.
Plus if they actually went out of their way to make the fans happy they could get those really popular games back on the One like the most voted games, Red Dead Redemption (was available for a short time till it got removed), Black Ops 2, MW2, Skyrim, etc.
Alas, it's Microsoft, if it has to do with spending their precious dollars it's extremely forbidden.

You're being extremely ignorant here, and I don't have enough knowledge to support an argument about their process for the B/C games; but try to remember that backwards compatibility is something they do NOT HAVE TO DO. It's completely fan serviced and it's something that Sony charges their fans for. Amongst the thousands of things that Microsoft does for you everyday, you choose to complain about their lack of Backwards compatible titles instead of appreciating the fact that they're still supporting the 360 and allowing you to play all of those titles. I think maybe you're being a little bratty about this instead of appreciating all of the things MS does for you without you even asking.

-YoungSinatra wroteLike the other user already said their are licensing issue with the publisher and other factors are in play like legal reason's for the game to be backwards compatible you just don't listen.Potion wrote-YoungSinatra wrotePotion wrote Clearly you've never managed servers before or mitigated a large amount of incoming data. I blame Obama. Not that I don't like him. Just blaming him because I can.
