Try taking them out and then powering on the machine, power the machine off, and then put the memory sticks back in and power it back on.

That should fix your issue, if it does not please reply back.

it was all the way clicked in and locked in plus I've removed it and tried powering it on an it still beeps. I have a hp p6-2003w I was just wanting to add a bit more ram since it's not the best pc

After test completes, press F10 key to Save and Exit, and then press Enter key to Exit Saving Changes.

you need to get new ram or take one off them out if it still does it, take another one out put up the first one you took out back in, it might just be one of them. or you can just have 1 in and find out which one is the faulty one

5 beeps, and 5 flashes means it is a memory related issue. So either one/both of your chips have gone back or the memory slot on your motherboard has somehow got damaged.

Try blowing it out and only insert one memory chip into the slot, if the one entered doesn't work try the other one(s).

I tried all memory slots and there clean as can be I guess there damaged somehow idk
