We have 2 new updates for everyone:

1. "Congratulations, you have successfully scheduled an appointment. Your appointment details are below. " (First two sentences in an email sent to me)

Our visa interview appointment has finally been scheduled! It's scheduled for the middle of July, roughly 45 days from now. We're very excited and can't wait for these 45 days to be over.

2. I've also booked my plane ticket to the U.S.! Last Sunday, Air Berlin had a really good offer up that I couldn't resist. The plane ticket is booked for the middle of November.

For now all that's left for us to do is book bus / train / plane tickets to Frankfurt from Berlin (it's quite a long distance), find a place close by to stay for a day or two and then go to the interview. That'll be it until we are married and I'm very happy about that. It's been almost a year since we started this process and I'm glad that we're finally so close to being done (for now).

The next time I'll post an update will probably be the day before we go to the interview. And then of course soon after to let everyone know that we were (hopefully) approved.

Hey everyone

It's been a little since we updated this thread. But that's because nothing really happened until now.
ShooterxChick and I are now both in the city where we will have our interview. After a 7 hour bus ride we are pretty happy to finally be here.

Anyway, why I'm posting here again is to let everyone know that the big day is tomorrow! We are really excited and of course a little nervous. The interview tomorrow will determine if our visa will be approved or not. But we are excited and confident about tomorrow! After almost 5 years of online dating and so many visits back and forth, we are ready to make the final step and to move together and marry in the US.

I will update this thread again tomorrow in about 14-16 hours from now. Wish us luck
