It's been a little since we updated this thread. But that's because nothing really happened until now.
ShooterxChick and I are now both in the city where we will have our interview. After a 7 hour bus ride we are pretty happy to finally be here.

Anyway, why I'm posting here again is to let everyone know that the big day is tomorrow! We are really excited and of course a little nervous. The interview tomorrow will determine if our visa will be approved or not. But we are excited and confident about tomorrow! After almost 5 years of online dating and so many visits back and forth, we are ready to make the final step and to move together and marry in the US.

The visa has been approved!!!

We are so happy. We sent in the paperwork last August and now we've finally been approved. It took almost an entire year from start to finish. Now we know for sure that we will soon be living together. We rewlly couldn't be any happier,

Thanks everyone so much for your support! I will be moving to the US this November and the wedding is planned for January. Whilst my immigration journey is far away from being over, we are glad that the first and most important step is now behind us.

I just read the main topic, and every single comment through the whole thread, I have to say, that was quite a ride. I'm happy that both of you are now legally able to live in the US together, and be married.

If I could, I'd have donated, but I wasn't around here back then, I'm still the new guy lol

I wish you both the best of luck, and hopefully here soon, my girl is moving to Indiana, it's gonna suck here without her for a month or two, but then I'm following her up there. She has to go without me for work reasons, but is staying, and I'm to follow, we've talked about all of this, there's a house up there too waiting, so hopefully I'll follow suit soon
