I bought this car about a month ago as something to mess around with until i get my f350 fixed. It has become my second favorite car ive ever had and it will spin the back tires in third gear

It is actually a 6 cylinder body that was fully built and drag raced for a couple years. So im 19 and only paying about 40 bucks in insurance each month for a cammed out mustang. The only problem with the car is that the speedometer is off because of the rear end gears it has so im already at 3 speeding tickets in a month. Lmao, my insurance isnt going to be 40 dollars for long

List of some of what has been done so far. Im sure im forgetting a lot
347 stroker motor
Berg Warner t5 transmission
Full Performance exhaust
Cold Air Intake
Tuned and Chipped
Howe Radiator
Steeda Stage 3 Suspension
Cobra body kit, emblems
Performance throttle body, clutch and bigger cams

I plan on getting a turbo put in in a couple months and i will update the post whenever i do something performance wise.

What would you like to see done to it?

Heres a few pics

I'm not a car parts person! So I'll help you with the color maybe like a Metallic black.

This looks like a fun project lol.

I see you already got the drift stitches done, so I guess past that get rid of the hood tie downs (seriously, this is an American car), get bigger wheels with wide slicks in the rear.

I'd scrap the idea of a 347 and get a 351 modified 400. Little old school but they put down a ton of power and don't weigh much. If you want a real Mustang engine, get the 302 or make the jump to a 429, that's be a hell of a car lol.

its already got the 347 in it. Its only got like 30k miles on the motor so i dont plan on replacing it anytime soon.

Thanks for the help though. what do you think would help the most performance wise that is under like a grand? im not trying to drop too much into the car other than the turbo

I've never build a go fast vehicle so I couldn't help much on that lol. The only direction I could point you in is aftermarket cam(s) and really just make the car as light as possible. Find aluminum doors / fender / hood, take out any extra weight like rear seats and spare tire. Weight reduction is the cheapest way to go fast.
