twistviperv2 wrote he has all the peripherals needed, used for gaming for games like Battlefield 1 on high atleast. I highly doubt he'll overclock and aesthetic he doesn't care as long as it can play the games he wants.

What monitor will he be using? Is it 1080p, 1440p, 4k? Lower resolution than 1080p? What refresh rate? BF1 on High means nothing if we don't know what resolution he is playing at, or refresh rate. If he's not interested in overclocking, an unlocked 4690k is a waste of money. We also need to know as much as we can about what the system will be used for. I'm sure it's not only going to be used for BF1. Is it going to be used solely for gaming? Or will he also do editing/rendering? Can we get an idea of the kind of games he plays? Some games are GPU heavy, some are CPU heavy, some are both so if he's only playing GPU heavy games, a different system would make sense than someone playing CPU and GPU heavy games.

TV, 1080p at 120Hz. Oh right, his main thing is gaming of course but it will be used for editing too. Games, FPS, he does like sports games, I know he is interested in getting Arma, Witcher 3, DayZ and emulate some consoles like WiiU to name a few things it'll be used for.

Could I show you what? If you want help with a build list, we need more information. We don't know what peripherals are being used with the system, or what the intended uses for the system are. We don't know if he's going to overclock. or what colour scheme/aesthetic is preferred, if any.

Bro, He's asking for a suggested "Build" Not for you to come on here and tell him how bad he is at picking computer parts that you think are too "Old" Or terrible.

I don't think they're "too Old", they are old. The CPU is 3 generations old, and the GPU is one generation behind, as I said already. He's asking for help with a parts list and didn't initially give us enough information to do so. I never told him he was bad at picking computer parts either.

He gave you a parts list and said can I get this any cheaper or any good cheap parts not for you to say the whole thing is terrible. Sometimes I think you come on here to tell people how bad there PC is rather than help them.

That's good for you. He asked for help in the PC Building section with a parts list. He gave us no information to accurately help him, so all I could do is give him reasons why what he was looking at was a bad choice. I don't understand why you're getting butthurt that certain PC components don't make sense to buy? Like if someone was trying to buy a 10 year old CPU that wouldn't do jack shit these days and I told him it's shit, is that me not helping?

Helping yes it is. But saying stuff like "Oh thats terrible and this is terrible" When you can easily just put a build that you think is better and leave it at that, May aswell bring him to a class room and give him a lecture...

It seems you're not quite grasping the basics here. I couldn't help him because I never had enough information to do so. Hence I mentioned the components that would be a bad choice, and why they'd be a bad choice. That's the best help I can give without enough information to give a pars list.
