(DO NOT tell me that this is the girls fault. I do agree that they should not be sending pictures at such a young age, but that doesn't make it okay to RUIN THEIR LIVES)
That's their fault. I'll say it every time.
They're ruining their own lives when they think it's actually okay to take nudes and then share them. What do you think is going to happen?
As for the topic in general, I don't see much disrespect towards women. Maybe that's just me.
What do I think is going to happen? Well, one would hope that the other person looks at it and just moves on and maybe deletes it later. Blaming the person who sent the photo seems a bit a like victim blaming. I mean, you can literally do it for anything else. Someone broke into your home? Well, what did you think was going to happen for owning one? You got assaulted for walking home at night? Well, what did you think was going to happen walking alone at night in a bad neighborhood? There are dangers for doing things and having things. If there is someone intentionally doing harm, why blame the victim? If you don't agree with the act itself, I got it, I don't like it either. It just seems messed up to blame someone due to them finding enjoyment in it and someone else ruining their life for it.
It's hardly the same thing when it comes to sending nudes. Getting assaulted when you come home, getting your house broken into, is not the same thing. One is the result of a persons actions, which they know could and probably will have consequences, and they do it anyways. The other, isn't the result of someone's actions, unless it's in some very odd scenario.
Yea, enjoyment in it. People send each other nudes for enjoyment. How is releasing private messages and photos not a result of someone's actions? They actively posted them to the public, whether it be the person who received them or hackers. Depending on the situation, it can very well have consequences.
