Join a local gym but before you start talk to one of the instructors, they will weigh you, talk about everything show you everything and run through a plan they think suits best. When you're hungry for the next few weeks dont eat, Drink water instead until your stomach no longer see's it as a filling. Cant get to the gym ? Go for a walk (With dogs if you got them) Simple things create great result's sometime's.
GL in your journey, an update would be nice also if you succeed!

8 pounds a week? Lol. I doubt that.

OP, all you need to do is work on cardio for 2 times a day and do that every day of the week and maybe take an off day once in a while. Hopefully you actually start doing it because these topics are made all the time yet nobody ever does it..

Idk why you would doubt that lol but I got numbers and I have been watching the scale so your comment was unnecessary in all honesty
It wasn't unnecessary at all. There's no way you lose 8 pounds a week unless you're doing something fishy if you even lose that at all. And didn't you just say in a thread how you needed advice on how to lose weight and then you're saying you just lost 8 pounds in a week which is already unrealistic as it is?

any goal can be met if you put your mind to it!

being that your 6'2", and depending on whether you're a big boned person or not, don't expect to be getting much lower than 215 (unless you plan on starving beyond belief)

when it comes to losing weight. its 80% diet, 20% workout.

so clean eating is very important when it comes to losing body fat, if thats what you're trying to lose, as well as high tempo workouts. cardio, circuits, that kind of thing.

a good way to kick start the weight loss is apple cider vinegar. it tastes absolutely disgusting but it gets the ball rolling. a shot of it a day helps a lot. it gets rid of excess weight that your body has a problem getting rid of.

constancy is key, consistent eating habits, consistent sleep

workouts should be consistent, the amount you do should be but the workouts shouldnt be the same thing everytime and you should change them up every 3 weeks or so, after a month of the same workouts, you start to plato and won't get any good results.

if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask!

Start drinking water instead of energy drinks as I myself used to drink them , cook food at home , it's a hell of a lot cheaper than fast food , download MyFitnessPal app on the App Store it's good tracking calories and it can keep you in mind of your goals or even checkout a YouTube channel called ObeseToBeast he lost like 170 pounds , hope this helps , good luck bro

8lbs in a week with a well balanced plan isnt unheard of. its not that much if hes sticking to his plan daily.

I'm not sure why you would doubt that... I lost 95 pounds in 2 and a half months this year. 45 pounds my first month. I went out with family this weekend ate a shit ton of food and that but within that 24 hours I lost 6 pounds. Losing 8 pounds a week isn't nothing.

Except I'm not doubting him losing 8 pounds a week, I'm literally doubting him losing that right now, considering he just posted on a topic of how he needed help losing weight yet he probably just pulled a number out of his hat for something he hasn't started to do. Congratulations on losing that much, but I take everything on here with a grain of extra salt.
