A Florida school shooting has left multiple injured, it is said to be 50 injured people with some being seen taken to ambulances on route to hospital. Sadly it has been confirmed that 3 students have been killed by a heavily armed gunmen wearing a gas mask. Police were quick to be on the scene, instructing those who are still inside to barricade themselves in the rooms they are in as the shooter is said to be at large, police and swat teams are taking control of the situation as the manhunt goes on for the shooter.
Police are believed to know the shooter, who is also said to be apart of the U.S. Army Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps program
Aerial footage from WSVN showed a number of people lying on the ground outside the school, being treated for injuries and moved to ambulances.
Footage from the scene showed students streaming away from the school. Some ran, while others walked quickly in orderly lines with their hands on or above their heads.
Dozens of law enforcement vehicles are on site, including one tank, along with a team of heavily armed law enforcement officers.
"It is now believed to be 17 confirmed dead,
The suspect has been named by police as 19-year-old Nikolas Cruz. He was arrested at the scene and is being questioned by investigators
Cruz was formerly a student at Douglas, but was expelledfor disciplinary reasons. A teacher at the schoolsaidstaff had been warned not to let him back on campus. The suspect hadreportedly been receiving treatmentfor mental health issues. It was also reported, said from other students in his class that he had previously brought guns into school"
This is getting ridiculous now, there has already been so many. 19th this year

There have been 18 school shootings so far this year. The educational system needs to start worrying about the mental health of their students, that is one of the most important reasons as to why this is happening. Also, the parents need to be taken accountable for not worrying more about their child; even though this could be due to an external source (outside of the home), it's about time parents started checking what their children are seeing, listening to and doing.
It is now confirmed that the shooter is in custody and there are numerous fatalities, no exact number has been given out yet.
It is also Valentine's Day. Maybe this was some student who was rejected by a girl (or boy) and he cracked. There are so many reasons as to why this could happen, I'm just curious as to what led the person to do this horrible act.

The suspect is an ex-student of the high school and he had been flagged as a campus threat. "We were told last year that he wasn't allowed into campus with a backpack on him."

Where are the security guards? If the student is barred from going on school campus with a backpack, where were the damn security guards? How did the cameras not catch him? Unless this high school has no security measures whatsoever, how the hell did he even manage to get in there? I'm not saying this as a conspiracy theory that someone helped him get in, I'm just asking why the security measures at this school were so relaxed.
Of course, it's school and there shouldn't be the need for so much security but in this day and age, these measures NEED to be implemented on all campuses to ensure the security of the student body, especially when the school knows there's a disgruntled ex-student who was already listed as a threat.

15 people are dead in Florida high school shooting, according to two law enforcement officials at the scene. The suspect has been identified as Nicolas Cruz; an 18 year old with no prior criminal history.

Getting 'rid' of guns would only be a temporary solution, no? As soon as you get rid of guns, you're going to have to get rid of U-Hauls or Rent-A-Car because people will come up with different ways of doing damage.

Well. It would stop mass shootings like it has in the majority of the world. Just saying.
