Do NOT drink...

Were you on corticosteroids?

As a general medical rule, you should wait at least 7 days before putting any strenuous (unnecessary) activity on an organ that has had an infection.

If you put strain on your liver via alcohol while having an inflamed liver you can damage it PERMANENTLY.

I deal with this at work quite frequently. Not so much with livers but with lungs as we have many residents who have lung infections. I am licensed through the state to provide nebulizer as well as injection treatments for these infections so I have a bit of a grasp on these viral infections, including EBV.

Do what you want. You wont die. You'll probably just feel really shitty and the fatigue you had from your fever may last longer because of it.
