I was in a state of mind in high school where I felt just like you. I always wanted to eat because I was either bored, or it was the only outlet that would make me feel happier.

It's not the answer. Eventually, you will stall and go into an even deeper depression than you find yourself in right now. My advice would be to take a step back and think about fitness and health. When I changed my life it brought me a lot of positive vibes in my life outside of controlling my caloric intake.
