Hiya everyone Im looking for a new xbox headset, Ive been looking around at a few models and Im probably going to go high end but still want some advice etc.
If im honest id prefer somthing that doesnt have to be plugged directly into my controller but im open to the suggestion of it
I currently own the turtlebeach 420xstealth headset
Ive looked at 3 headsets but im happy to hear ANY critism or advice for these or any other headset you can suggest please
Headset 1
Turtle beach elite pro with tac
This was my first choice, Ive been told this with the tac pro is increible for gaming.
Headset 2
Astro a40 TR
Ive heard some bad things about the a50s so the next best thing from them would be the A40
Headset 3
Sennheiser GSP 600

ASTRO A40s all day. Someone told me they have a lifetime warranty, dont know how true that is.
Ive owned 2 pairs tho and loved both of them, First one broke after 5 years of use, second pair is still rocking strong.
IF you have a xbox chat adapter you dont even have to buy the mixamp.

I've got the same headset you currently have now, I haven't used it in a few years though since I lost the damn mic dongle

XO Four's for me.
I tried the A40's but unless I set them up incorrectly, I just couldn't get used to them at all. I had the mixamp and the sound was always muffled and my mic was echoing constantly and all sorts.
