Astro A40's with Mixamp.
I will never get another headset.

Astro A40's hands down. I've gone from the 2011 edition to the 2013 edition and now I'm on the TR edition (current model). Astro has an amazing support team and will send you replacement cables for free if you ever have a problem with your inline mute cable. The only reason I know that is because I'm an idiot and constantly roll over cables with my chair lol.

You can't adjust both chat and game volume separate on them or can you? My friend seems to have that issue.

I also had a constant echo when I had them for a brief spell so I got rid of them.

Edit - that was with the MixAmp pro.

Do you guys have the MixAmp M80? Xbox only version?

Ether way you can control then through the Xbox settings

I purchased A40's yesterday and they're beautiful.

Only issue with them is when you plug in a play and charge kit - you have to make slight adjustments to your audio. Easily done with the mixamp on the controller.

Highly recommend!

Personally the Hyper X Alpha 2s are my favorite

Wearing my Astro A40 TRs right now, sadly I think black is PS4 only and white is for Xbox, sound quality is amazing and the mix amp makes it so easy to get the sound perfect to your preference.

Can quickly mute your mic, change the sound to be more bass etc

Also it doesn't need to be plugged into your controller but it can be, it's optional.

They're pricey but you get what you pay for, I love mine
