When I set my ram speed to its labelled 3000mhz I get this message [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
I have Ryzen 5 2600 with Asus Strix B450-f motherboard and 8GB 3000MHz
I'm only able to get 2400mhz max

Any help would be good thanks

The 3400mhz in the screenshot you posted is referencing your Processor clock speed, which is 3.4ghz (3400mhz).

The processor doesn't constantly run itself at max clock, meaning it will dip below that number unless it's being fully utilized.

What program did you use to read the 2400mhz? You can use CPU-Z ( [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ) to check information on your memory and CPU.

Set the RAM with the clock, timings, and voltages on the package.
