Feels wrote Maybe, but nothing as extravagant as this. I wouldn't say it's ruined football, but it has had a negative effect. How did you work that out? The way I see it, all the money did was bring a lot more world-class players to the premier league and made it a much more entertaining league |

If one rich guy wants to pay money to watch entertaining football and supply entertaining football for the fans, how is that a negative effect on the league? Most clubs are businesses, they simply don't care about entertainment or anything of the sort |

I would enjoy this football discussion if you produced a decent quality argument Instead you're trashing the Chelsea fan base when that's all you Arsenal fans do is bragging about being top of the league 10 games in.. By the end, you won't be top You've hit a bit of good form... Nothing major And yes, most of our success has come down to Abramovich. But how on earth were we meant to break into the the top four permanently otherwise.. Please don't suggest we bread a youth team with little budget.. Because Arsenal, United, and Liverpool (at the time) were in a position of power. No team could do serious damage to the top teams because you guys would pinch their best youth players, leading to a loop of development. The only way we could break into the top four was through financial investment We were potentially going to get administrated, we deserved an owner to give us a chance at financial security Those who insult us about Abramovich are those fearful of our success.. Over the last ten years, most successful team in England (on trophies). And proud. |

As it occurred to anyone that Atletico Madrid could be quite a threat in the champions league? I think they could go far. |

Arsenal has been in the top 4 for 16 years, only spending 10 million pounds net over the last ten years. Chelsea and Man City are in power now and look where we are. Only reason we are bragging being top of the table is because you guys keep saying we belong in 4th and we haven't proven ourselves yet. |

Gotta_Have_It wrote As it occurred to anyone that Atletico Madrid could be quite a threat in the champions league? I think they could go far. I'm hoping they do, they've been amazing this year and Diego Costa is on fire. We couldn't even beat them in the Supercup. They beat Real Madrid in the final of the Copa del Rey last time and beat them again this year. They definitely have a chance. |
