I didn't realise that Brendan Rodgers won Manager of the year!

He deserved it though! Such a tough battle against City!

I personally dont understand how Pellegrini didn't win one of them awards. Surely the manager of the team who wins the league should get the award, after all he was better than Rodgers.

Not at all. Pellegrini was expected to win it by miles and only just managed to nick it because both Chelsea and Liverpool blew it. Pellegrini had a poor season in my opinion, he struggled to win the league and their CL performances speak for themselves. Pulis 100% deserved it, what a job he did at Palace. They have a real chance of staying up next season now, too!

i agree about pellegrini if he didn't win it he would have been a failure and that was extremely close to happening. with the team they have they should be getting to at least the semi finals

also Van Gaal is being ridiculous with the players he wants to sign, sounds like they are turning into man city

dannyb93 this is for you ;) word up here is Preston are signing Peter Clarke and Kieth Southern who we released, both would be great signings for you tbh and Grayson knows them well, despite Kieth playing for Blackpool so he's obviously not liked by you lot he is great at holding the midfield as for Clarke you wont see better leadership or commitment from anyone

I personally think Thorgan is ready to step up to the BPL, i've seen him play a few times, looks very good. I agree about the whole United thing, i think half the players they want to sign won't even join them, everyone says they'll be straight back in top 4 next season challenging for the title, I think they won't be as low as 7th, but they'll be a team battling around 4th/5th place.

I agree Man Utd fans really think they could sign like Toni Kroos and all that but when Liverpool were where they are we couldn't get anyone so I really doubt it.

HTFC wrote i've heared the Mandzukic to Chelsea deal has been complete, its been on Croatia radios etc that he has signed and will apparently have the #18 shirt (Lukakus number) not sure what the fee or anything was might not even be fully true but it's from a reliable source

also just seen there is shops in Croatia selling Mandzukic Chelsea shirts
