Yeah I think we'll definitely be competing properly next year.
Then once we have our team completely sorted we'll be back to our winning days.

Fielding wrote Just hoping that our team will be like this next season:

De Gea
Dani Alves Hummels Rojo Shaw
Blind
Herrera Di Maria
Mata
Rooney Falcao
Dani Alves is not the answer to uniteds right back position, he's absolute dog at defending and plays more like a winger.

Rest of that team looks solid though, can't complain at that!

Couldn't agree more, you've already got Valencia and Young to play at wing back if you want to play "non-defenders", you'd be better off keeping a solid back 4 in decent defensive position given the pace and attacking prowess you have in the top half of your team already

Just remembered today is the 57th anniversary of the Munich Disaster.

R.I.P to all those involved with it. Might of been a while ago but it's horrible to hear about tragedies that have happened in football.

Could it be Seamus Coleman? I mean look at Ashley Young, past few seasons has been absolute dog shit... Now he's playing out of his skin! Incredible transformation, never thought he'd have a defensive bone in his body haha.

I only suggested Dani Alves as it would be a free transfer and he already admires MUFC. Ideally I'd like a player along the lines of Nathaniel Clyne, Coleman, or if Paddy can keep up the same performance he put in against Cambridge then possibly even him.

Still don't believe next year you'll be good enough to compete for top two.

Not certain you'd be able to rely on Paddy McNair longterm - but Coleman or Clyne would be a wonderous signing for you imo

Coleman would be a great signing and a very realistic one.

Think United are going to have to sell a few with the amount they are wanting to bring in. Personally think it will be Van Persie's time to go in summer and they will probably cash in while he's still worth a bit and be replaced by a young talent.

Well following on that, I'm not sure what Falcao's future holds, if he goes back to Monaco, which I think is what is agreed at the moment? (you'll have to correct me if i'm wrong) then Utd will go from a huge amount to barely any striking options, unless LVG is really stupid enough to play Di Maria up top.

EDIT: Assuming Wilson doesn't become a starting option next year
