KA built for 700HP I'd love to see some dyno sheets after you turbo it. Most turbo'd KA's even with forged internals push like 400whp-450whp.

And, it won't be pushed to 700hp. I will be around 500+ once I go to my next set up. The motor can handle 700whp max unless I go through my internals again. With this set up I'll be in the 300hp area for now.

My hood flew up on me about a month ago and that is why my hood has changed as well. My bumper got destroyed from train tracks about 3 weeks ago and that's why that is also a different color.

I do have a buddy who is building a ka right now that will hover around the 800hp+ range. I'm not 100% sure when it will be finished, but when it is, I will definitely post it for you with dyno sheets.

500 on a KA is pretty damn risky. KA's can be ticking time bombs. Goodluck with the build. Keep us posted

They're ticking time bombs if not built properly or more important, if you have a bad tune. Any motor is a ticking time bomb without good parts and a great tune.

And thanks for the positive feedback everyone! I'll get a parts list going sometime soon along with more photos.

yeah good luck with a KA with 500 hp. I've never heard of one going that high with power so I don't know how reliable they are

The same friend who is building the one for 800hp threw together a frankenstien KA lasting him 2 years of contstant drift events and making 400whp.

Here's a nasty dual cam build for you as well (;

oh shit nice, I have nothing against them I just never hear of them making that kind of power usually people just ditch them haha, what made you stay stock engine rather than like an RB or SR?

That's just it. Everybody ditches them, so I decided to be different and build the KA. In my opinion SRs are complete junk and I still hold this down. My mechanic at the shop I go to which is the shop I work at now, he built my motor and I broke it in then we raced against eachother when he was SR and he blew his SR racing my freshly built KA. <.< I felt like that was a sign that I chose the right path. lol

If this Ka decides to blow up, I will be going either 1jz, 2jz, or any LS that I can get my hands on that is in decent running condition.
