It's been my dream truck as well! When I bought it I wasn't looking for it, I wanted a new base model 1/2 ton truck so I drove the F-150, liked it but didn't like the aluminum idea. Drove the Ram 1500, wasn't a big fan of it. Went to a Chevy dealer to look at a 1500 and I seen this truck. I always wanted a diesel, wanted the King ranch, and I wanted the crew cab short bed. Never drove the Chevy, hopped in this one and bought it.

But hey, if it's you're dream truck everything I own is for sale! For the low low price of $17k you can own it today so I can get a 6.7 build going!

I finally got a new grill! One thing that's bugged me since I bought the truck was that the chrome was bubbling up on the chrome in a few places. Also that King Ranch emblem has been bugging me because they messed up the color scheme so I got a new Powerstroke emblem with the International emblem (International or Navistar depending on how you look at it built the 6.0 engine).

Thanks! I learned with my F-350 that I won't go mudding or offroading unless it's a dedicated mud truck. Mud rusts your truck FAST and it is a PITA to clean it all off. This truck is strictly a pavement princess lol.

Yeah I wouldn't wanna get that beauty dirty either if I'm honest!
What truck would be best for mudding/off-roading?

By the time you build a vehicle for mudding, it doesn't matter as everything has changed. If you're on the cheap, all you need is a tall lift with big wide tires.

Offroading has different characteristics, you have rock climbing, mudding, baja, etc. Rock climbing you want a short wheel base like a Suzuki Samurai (or a longer shorter vehicle like the pro rock crawlers), and baja you want a soft long travel suspension.

For mudding like I said the tires are the major part of the vehicle, past that you want torque so preferably a diesel. For trailing and such a Jeep or older Toyota truck will do you because they're cheap and relatively easy to repair.

I'm going to premise all that by saying I don't offroad, this is just applying what I know to that world. My offroad experience is 2 trips to Walker valley in my old F-350.

Awesome, I've always wanted a big dirty off-roader, are land rovers of any use? Or not.
