Banning guns won't work. There are too many of them out there. Just because something is illegal, doesn't mean that people won't still have access to them. That just means that all of the honest, upstanding citizens who turned in their weapons would be defenseless against those who have them illegally. You expect me to just sit there during a break in and hope that the intruder isn't gonna shoot me? Hell no haha. Just my point of view. It would be nice if weapons in general would just disappear and people just lived their own lives without trying to mess with others. That being said, people are crazy and this shouldn't have happened. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone involved.

pretty weak argument. Australia managed it pretty well and I don't have to worry about getting shot if someone wants to rob me, because unless he is apart of a well organised crime he isn't gonna have a gun. But by all means stick by your what 200 year old law? Every year you guys have shootings and every year people say gun bans wont work because good guys won't have guns? How many shootings have been stopped by a citizen with a gun? maybe 1%?
You guys should have banned them after columbine.
And like, its not like banning means no one gets em. You just have to add hoops for people to jump through so it takes ages and you have can pick up on mental health issues.

Most common drug which is weed is literally EVERYWHERE, but our policemen do not really attack on that. Our government should make it more complicated acquiring guns, such as a better mentality test.
