These events need to have tighter security. I wouldn't mind waiting in line for an extra X amount of time to know I was going to be safe.
RIP to all the families affected by this. |

Whitty11099 wroteCouser wrote What is it with America just ban guns already pretty weak argument. Australia managed it pretty well and I don't have to worry about getting shot if someone wants to rob me, because unless he is apart of a well organised crime he isn't gonna have a gun. But by all means stick by your what 200 year old law? Every year you guys have shootings and every year people say gun bans wont work because good guys won't have guns? How many shootings have been stopped by a citizen with a gun? maybe 1%? You guys should have banned them after columbine. And like, its not like banning means no one gets em. You just have to add hoops for people to jump through so it takes ages and you have can pick up on mental health issues. but you know "ITS DA CONSTITUTION AND AMERICAN". |

Saw this story break live, really gutted me. I know for me videogames had always been an escape from my family life or anything else going on, like a sanctuary. Just really sad to see people lose their lives doing something so innocent that's only suppose to make people happy. |

We have strong beliefs on our constitution since it is what has kept our country one of the leaders in the world. It helps against oppression and states our rights clearly rather then having some bureaucratic 10,000 word document explain that we have the right to speak freely, or that we simply don't need to speak to the police. Whether you agree with me or not, some of our citizens are patriotic extremists including our country leader. In order for them to ban guns as a whole, I just don't see it happening. 322 wrote And like, its not like banning means no one gets em. What? https://i.imgur.com/NpRSfVu.png |

So many people do not comprehend things in this country. Banning the guns would not do anything, just like us making certain drugs illegal we still get them right? Most common drug which is weed is literally EVERYWHERE, but our policemen do not really attack on that. Our government should make it more complicated acquiring guns, such as a better mentality test. |

There are so many "wars" on illegal substances and items that it is just clogging up our jails. The war on drugs is seriously a joke and should end already with states already starting to allow for recreational use. Opiod addiction is a joke as well in my opinion. The reason it's considered addiction is because the law restricts medical professionals from prescribing narcotics for something that is acute, thus making us SEARCH illegally for those said narcotics. Ultimately it leads to buying illegal narcotics which stems from crime and people stealing their grandmother's pills even though she probably really don't need them. I know plenty of people prescribed narcotics that people actually need and cannot get. The whole "oh this isn't allowed" is, in my opinion, a major factor behind substance abuse. If the government allowed individuals to pharmaceutical grade opiods then we wouldn't search for ones laced with fentanyl. Again, that's all just theory but in my opinion it makes a whole lot of sense. |
