Thus is what I came up with, it's just about $10 over $1,000 and the 240mm aio is unnecessary, I just included it because you may want to over clock and air coolers that will actually move the heat are expensive. |

Riddler wrote 2560x1440 or 1920x1080 Well, which? Also 60Hz or 120/144Hz? Whatever monitor(s) you're using will dictate which components make sense. Riddler wrote Fortnite mainly What else will the system be used for? Fortnite isn't exactly hard to run, and you definitely don't need an i7 for it. SSSupah wrote the 240mm aio is unnecessary, I just included it because you may want to over clock The i7-8700 is a locked CPU, he wouldn't be doing any overclocking with an i7-8700. |

Riddler wrote Still need help finding a build. Then I'll re-iterate; "Whatever monitor(s) you're using will dictate which components make sense" So you've already got a single 1440p monitor? What refresh rate? Is the system literally only going to be used for Fortnite? 21 wrote Fortnite isn't exactly hard to run Can we get an idea of what else the system will be used for, if anything? |
