Sounds like this really isn't the job for you to be honest. "If you live in a flat/apartment, don't always expect us to come up to the top floor for you. If you live in a really awkward place, which makes it difficult for a large van to access or simply live in Narnia, please consider moving house." Working for a mailing company, it's literally your job to deliver the package to the receiver. Now I know why my packages go missing. People like you just taking the job and not having a care in the world for the person's items... |

Sure,
Pish wrote Of course, Could I ask: I do, but unfortunately my company vans don't provide sufficient item security when in transit (when most damage happens) Pish wrote I do this sir. Pish wrote Delivery drivers have a stigma for driving without care, but not all. Pish wrote I don't get angry, but we are punished if we are late, thus delaying the rest of the other customers. Pish wrote I'm not required to enter your property. Pish wrote See above But also another question for you, would you be angry if we attempted to deliver 5 minutes earlier than your designated time slot? |

-Simplicity wrote I have never failed to deliver an item unless it's completely impossible to, but it's also the customers job to make sure I'm not running hours behind schedule, I can't deliver without communication/cooperation. For example if you're not at the house at the time of the delivery, or don't respond to phone calls. Newly built houses are also not instantly available on GPS, so it could be that phone calls will need to be made for further direction. |

JZX wrote Sure, Dont get me wrong, I appreciate the job you guys do. How else would I get my shit? But as with all things in life, its a bit of give and take. I personally have my number on the front on a plaque different to the colour of my house. If I am expecting a delivery I leave both front and side gates unlocked so the guys can access easily as some packages aint easy to hold nevermind open something. My hat is off to people in your line of work this time of year. as I know fine well if any of your points faced me, I would do my best to Jordan that package as close to the house as possible |

I'm on a time limit, so please hurry up. \
Delivering items is your job. If you're on a unreasonable time limit that's your employers problem and not a problem of the end customer. You can't assume that all customers must run to the door (fully clothed at that) once you come knocking. Don't want to be rude, many good friends driver courier as well and they have similar complaints. However, that's really on the company and their inability to staff for a balance between capacity and service. Then again it will never change so definitely a bitch to deal with |

UPS is garbage imo, at least with fedex you can put your phone number in the address and they'll call you when they're outside. Just had to deal with UPS. |

USPS is straight trash, sent my package to another state when the package was shipped out from the state I was in. |
