This is more so a rant post

So I lost my old xbox account around 8 years ago and since then it's been inactive since noone else used it...

I never had an actual email address on the account so I was never able to get back in.

Just recently i loaded up my old xbox 360 and guess what.. my account was there

But... it had my old gamertag on it and sooooo i was never able to actually look what my email was on it

i have literally all my information except the email on the account

I got my card numbers, my addresses, IP blah blah blah bUT No email lol

And because Xbox Customer Service Reps have ZEROOO discretionary power they can't see all the information i have unless I provide them with the email...

Goddamn Microsoft, literally every other company like Epic Games, Sony, and what not all have decent support systems, at least with Sony they still have a working support number and at least with epic games they know emails can be forgotten and what not.

So why can't you?

that requires being able to sign into the account with xbox live, my account on the 360 is using an older gamertag and I never signed back in to update it.

All good cause I doubt ill get my account lol

I'm pretty sure you can still sign into the account on xbox just not xbox live, i used to do it on a perma banned account because it had all my DLC's attached to it. That's how i found my Email a long time ago.

I tried man, maybe there is another way but when I signed onto the account im unable to get into the account management/security area.

Unless there is another way?

Also it doesnt display in the top right next to the gamertag, thats only an xbox live feature

get it yourself. if you are on xbox 360 go to account management on the guide on xbox 360. It will show your email there or the email should randomly pop up on the top corner unless you turned it off. On xbox one go to sign in and privacy in settings I believe you can see your email there or it will be right under the sign in part unless you again turned it off. But since you said old gonna assume 360 so yeah account management from guide.

and yea on 360, the account was my old 360 account that i had for a very long time.

I already put it to the past, the post itself was more so a rant.

It just boggles me how xbox has such a shit customer support, outsourcing it out of the country just made it worse since the support rly doesnt care and theres 0 discretion for them
