What launcher are you downloading on? Possibly check your settings and see if your limiting your download speeds in there.

Also I know it's not always possible but you could try running a cat 5 from your router to your pc, that's the best solution for slow speeds. You can pick up up like 50 feet for dirt cheap on amazon.

I'm not able to run a cable but ive made sure in steam, uplay and battle net that the bandwidth had no limits on any of them. Ive checked the settings and it says its using 2.4ghz not 5 would it be worth picking a card that supports 5ghz up ?? Do you think that would help ?

5ghz cards can support much higher speeds at the cost of connection reach. So if you have a pretty good copnnection from the 2.4 id say getting a 5 would be worth it. But if you are barely reaching your connection by2.4 im afraid you may need a WiFi extender as well. I personally use this one without having any speed loss Ebay

I think ill give that WIFI extender a go and run a wired connection instead, but just find it weird because when I was living back home I would be getting 30-35 mbps on all game launchers steam, uplay and others.
