my pre build arrived today everything perfectly fine but when I download my games I'm only getting 6mbps I've tried everything at this point installing drivers resetting router I don't know what else to do just wondering if anyone had a suggestions I'm not able to run wired connection either. the wireless adapter im using is a tp-link wireless n pci card any help is appreciated |

What launcher are you downloading on? Possibly check your settings and see if your limiting your download speeds in there.
Also I know it's not always possible but you could try running a cat 5 from your router to your pc, that's the best solution for slow speeds. You can pick up up like 50 feet for dirt cheap on amazon. |

Ive checked the settings and it says its using 2.4ghz not 5 would it be worth picking a card that supports 5ghz up ?? Do you think that would help ? |

5ghz cards can support much higher speeds at the cost of connection reach. So if you have a pretty good copnnection from the 2.4 id say getting a 5 would be worth it. But if you are barely reaching your connection by2.4 im afraid you may need a WiFi extender as well. I personally use this one without having any speed loss Ebay |

Battle.net and uplay are slow as sh*t, not just you, I'm lucky to get 4mbps on battle |

I personally use this one without having any speed loss EbayI think ill give that WIFI extender a go and run a wired connection instead, but just find it weird because when I was living back home I would be getting 30-35 mbps on all game launchers steam, uplay and others. |
