Does it hurt?
Really all depends bud, I personally recently just got mine taken out a month ago or so and I was IV'd up and they knocked me out before they even came into the room. If it does hurt then how long? Afterwards after I got home (don't even remember leaving the place or the car ride home) I woke up on the couch and it felt like a Jack hammer was drilling into my back maulers. I was given Hydrocodones for the pain which I 100% had to take. How long does it take for them to get them pulled? I'd say no longer than an hour with no issues arising in between. Honestly all in all I was a little nervous going into it as well but its no biggie. I healed within 2 weeks and smoked through my nose 2 days after the surgery. |

Does it hurt?
I got mine taken out on April 3rd 2020, the good thing was that my dentist was still open even during a pandemic. Yes it does hurt I remember I was in pain for the first week I was washing my mouth with warm water and salt after every meal for it to heal faster. If it does hurt then how long? About a week for me anyways. I only took Tylenol though. How long does it take for them to get them pulled? Mine took about 45 minutes to an hour I had an anxiety attack when I was getting numbed up but after they pulled the first tooth I was calm and the procedure was over before I knew it. |

BLVD wrote Man do I feel that "smoking through the nose" part!! That absolutely was the worst part but all the horror stories about dry sockets I wasn't risking it lol. OP, you won't feel or even remember a thing about the surgery. The recovery is by far the worst part. I had all 4 removed at once and bled from I'd say a day and a half straight, you can't eat a damn thing, just get the best painkillers you can and don't hesitate to take them. Good luck buddy! |

I don't know if I got lucky, not a baby, or if everyone else is just a baby. But I got all four of mine removed about a year ago and I felt fine the same day. They knocked me out with anesthesia of course, but when I woke up I had no pain. They told me what I can and can't eat and I followed, but I never had any pain after. I still have the meds they gave me for said pain. I was even smoking the same day of the procedure.
My experience was no where near anyone else's it seems. |
