It's going to be tight but it'll fit lmao, using a hammer during a PC build is okay right?

16 wrote going to be a bit harsh with this case. I have a 4000x for my office build. Able to hold a high SP but as far as airflow that depends on the fans you use. The included fans are usually corsairs base models. The cable management can be efficient if you have the time. That back panel tends to bulge a bit towards the drive cages if you're using thicker non slimline cables. Personally i bought a fitted set from cablemod to make it work, you will need a motherboard that supports the awkward 3.2 type C connector. The cable is bulky and unless you don't care about cable management that one is annoying. There are no real grommets or cable grooves, just a single cable track in the back. If you plan to use multiple fans, you might want to grab a PWM splitter and run it off the MB instead of the included solution(if your case came with it the node i should say). IO is pretty bog standard for them, the higher tier models, 5000/7000 come with a better layout up top, personally i like having more than one type A slot. The top has minimal space if you're squeezing in a proper sized ATX board it will essentially drag on the bottom of the PSU shroud if you aren't careful.

I have a d15s for my cooler, it sits a little less than 6mm from the edge of the case fan housing. Making it a pain to connect the CPU power. Had to run the cable as connected before i set the motherboard in place with the cooler.

I could've gone with the noctua P12s i had from my last build, better performance overall. I just wanted color, though that's my preference currently. If you're going for aesthetics then you're more than likely going to end up shilling out more than you need. The b550 Pro-A is virtually the exact same board without the preinstalled IO shield and shroud covering it.

In your case i would swap out a couple of things unless you're really wanting to drop more money, swap out some stuff here and there. 1.25TB isn't really enough, though storage needs is up to the user, i have 3.5 and i still tend to run out of space here or there on my storage drives. I would go with something similar to this to cut price. The fans are completely optional though they're relatively low price and perform great. Memory is another optional choice, just went with what you had at the time listed. PSU is optional as well, depends on what you feel you need. The TT PSU you had listed isn't bad, though I do not like their stock cables, they're just ugly, thin but ugly. Corsair has this issue as well, i'd recommend getting a custom length set, especially for this cases subpar management. You could install some 2.5" SSDs in the back on their brackets or go and get corsairs 2in1 3.5" tray to support them in the 3.5" rack in the bottom.

Thanks for taking the time to reply dude really appreciate it!

Completely understand the criticism toward the case, in my planning I was trying to reduce cost in areas I felt weren't as essential to spend megabucks on i.e. case, but in hindsight should of taken more consideration in regards to airflow etc. Saying that, the front panel is interchangeable between models so I've just bought the airflow front panel to swap out and still kept the price under retail. Custom cables is something i've been toying with the idea of but now you mention the bulging of the rear panel its definitely something i'll invest in and take the time to cable manage properly rather than rushing.

Where storage is concerned as I said to Loke, 1.25TB is enough for me right now (working away a lot so not being used as much as I'd like too) but definitely something i'll look to increase in future. Would you recommend going quad channel over dual channel for memory? I like the look of those fans! not too fussed about colour as i'm heading more toward a 'monochrome' aesthetic so if they come in black they'd be perfect! PSU i'm looking to move up to an 850 as its recommended minimum for the GPU but if the 750 survives it may stay. I'll have a good look at both parts list and see what funding will allow me to swap out, thanks again bro!

The p12s is available in the gray/standard noctua colors if memory serves me right. On the other hand if you can get the tinted tempered glass panel or the metal panel you'll never really see the color difference. The case has great airflow for the price point, the panels only real difference imho would be it having a little less forward restriction, though for most use cases that is minimal impact.

Update time!

Honestly I've not made a lot of progress in regards to the build due to work and finances, alas i'm chipping away at my parts list and slowly getting them all together.

In better news, I have however manage to pick up some absolute steals, namely a beautiful Corsair ICUE H150i Elite Capellix AIO and an MSI B550 Gaming Plus motherboard. Both I purchased from eBay brand new for quite literally half the retail prices purely because the packaging was slightly damaged so made some good saving there!

Originally I was swaying toward a 280mm AIO so I could top mount it and with the limited space I have in the case I wasn't sure a 360 would fit with the monster GPU, thankfully they both fit like a dream and how could I turn down a heavily reduced 360, bigger is better right? https://www.thetechgame.com/images/chat/smiles/fishstare.png

The motherboard is what it is, happy with the aesthetics of it and the IO shield is a lot smaller than I thought it would be, in hindsight i think a top mounted 280 AIO would of actually caused fitment dramas with RAM and shield so feel i've made a good choice with the big boy. need to buy a heat sink and hide that ugly ass SSD.

Staying on the hunt for more bargains and RAM is next on my hitlist!

Someone take my bank cards and stop me spending money, i'm broke af and this build isn't helping at all!

Despite that I bought some RAM
https://www.thetechgame.com/images/chat/smiles/pepehappy.png

Went for the 32GB (4x8GB) Corsair Vengance RGB Pro SL 3600Mhz to further satisfy my need for a little bit of rainbow puke when i'm having a desktop disco

Going to have to grind this build to a halt for a little while before I can afford to blowout on a decent CPU, but its coming together nicely!

Not a very exciting update but an update nonetheless!

Purchased a new PSU for the build, went for the Corsair RM1000x (Seems to be an unintentional corsair theme happening) with some white custom Reaper cable extensions as the stock cables are ugly af

Still not able to blow out on a decent CPU yet but this should be up and running soon with any luck!

Cablemod is almost ALWAYS worth the premium. If you're looking for flexibility the paracord variant works amazingly for easy bending and stiffness if you buy combs/lacing up a build. .

In all the excitement of building a new PC I may have overlooked a few key aspects, such as testing components i'd purchased second hand, turns out the MOBO is DOA https://www.thetechgame.com/images/chat/smiles/pepehands.png

The build was complete and ready to power on but it just wouldn't boot, I checked every connection possible with no luck, realised it was either a dud MOBO or the PSU (which is brand new) so to rule out the PSU being at fault I connected it to my old build through its MOBO and it powered on instantly. Time to throw more money at this thing!

DOA or not updated to support the CPU? You can usually get a loaner from AMD in that case just to update. Unless they stopped that program.

Hadn't considered that, I could use my Ryzen 5 with it and see if it will boot enough to perform an update, thanks man i'll give that a shot
