Unfortunately in the peak time there was so much demand it outweighed supply so was so easy for scammers so slip through.

Even the ones who was trusted scammed simply because there was so many and they could get away with it.

That being said the staff on this site have always been thorough with trusted people to ensure people aren't scammed! Hopefully you stick around!

After some digging I've found a lot of people have been scammed by this guy, easily thousands of dollars stolen by this guy. With my digging I've also found a few emails and even some currently still active ebay shops this guy runs. I reached out to highlight a wonderful memory of his past - I wonder if he will have the cajones to reply? Stay tuned TTG!
