You might be able to get some decent FPS bumps just from tweaking some settings that are up to date with their new updates.

Tried all the most recent tweeks from YouTube tutorials etc but didn't gain anything really.

Yeah that might just be how Warzone is unfortunately. Maybe some other people might have some tips or advice on upgrading if they think it's worth it.

GPU upgrade is definitely the first move.

Lowering the settings and resolution just makes the CPU more of a bottleneck. Optimise your settings at 1440p.

750 quid will just about get you an RX 7900XT if you just want as much performance as you can get for that money. 4070Timwould be your NVidia alternative for the same price. Warzone performs better with AMD GPU's so a 7900XT will quite heavily out-perform a 4070Ti in that specific scenario. In fact, the 7900XT is about 10% faster than a 4080 in Warzone, 20-25% faster than the 4070Ti.

If you were to go down the CPU upgrade route, then you'd be better off just buying an R7 5800X3D and staying on AM4 for now IMHO. Especially since a GPU upgrade is going to be far more beneficial.
5700X's have even been mega cheap recently and are a fairly reasonable upgrade for the price IF you really want to.

If you don't want to spend your full budget on a GPU like the 7900XT or 4070Ti, then you could buy an RX 7800XT for 500 quid, and that even leaves you money to throw an R7 5800X3D into your current motherboard as well if you want.
7900XT with your current CPU is still going to give you the biggest gain but a 5800X3D + 7800XT should be good for around 120FPS @ 1440p ultra settings. Optimise settings a little and you should be in the 144-165FPS range. 7800XT is a little faster than a 4070Ti in Warzone for 2/3 of the price.
